A new law recently passed by the Maine legislature allocated 50 moose permits to Maine sporting camps through a special lottery.

If you plan on flying into Colorado, I recommend flying into Montrose Regional Airport which is about an hour north of the cabins. It is recommended that you drive a four-wheel drive suv or pickup truck with adequate ground clearance due to the roads being rough and rocky.
